Job Summary:

As a Inter Company Coordinator, you will be responsible for arranging and coordinating the shipment of all company product between all of our plants using our own fleet as well as common carriers and maintaining all inventory systems related to these shipments.


Inter Company Coordinator Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Reviews and processes all intercompany orders as releases are received from warehouses

  • Coordinates and manages all orders within specific loading/delivery schedules.

  • Determines and facilitates the mode of shipment for each delivery, e.g. common carrier, UPS, company truck.

  • Communicates delivery logistics/issues with each plant.

  • Maintains intercompany orders through order entry, including order maintenance, deleting of completed orders, and re-entry when necessary

  • Enters intercompany transfers into inventory management system

  • Prints and reviews transfer edit reports

  • Builds loads and provides pick-lists for truck loading, in addition prints intercompany invoices for Fayetteville deliveries

  • Reviews and manages all intercompany activity by utilizing multiple system reports and controls.

  • Manages internal UPC code system, which includes generating labels for production, maintaining label stock, and maintenance on barcode printers.

  • Must be proficient in using Excel Spreadsheets

  • Assists with entering new item codes

To manufacture metal roofing, metal building, and pole barn trim by hand and by using mechanical breaks. Responsible for accurately loading customer orders, unloading shipments, and cleanliness of department. 

Primary Duties:

  • Ensure that all customer orders are loaded safely, accurately, and timely.
  • Receive loading documents for jobs.
  • Use forklift to handle heavy weight metal coils.
  • Load customer vehicles with panel packs.

Primary Duties:

  • Market Reed’s Metals complete product and service offering.
  • Seek opportunities to expand and grow Reed’s Metals customer base and business.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to all customer inquiries regardless of source (i.e. phone, fax, email, web lead, walk-in, etc.)
