Job Summary:
Perform all kinds of welding and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment.
Primary Duties:
- Receive job duties from team lead.
- Follow work procedures and tool and material requirements.
- Select and set up welding equipment.
- Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded.
- Fabricate metal building and metal roofing components.
- Use a rod or wire and heat to join metals.
- Use a plasma torch, grinding wheel, band saw or other instrument for cutting metal.
- Ensure welds meet standards and specifications.
