Job Summary:
Perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans communicated by Team Lead.
Primary Duties:
- Maintain and operate the vehicle in accordance with all laws and Reed’s Metals, LLC. policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all loads are delivered safely, accurately, and timely to correct address without damage to customer/company property.
- Use forklift to unload heavy material.
- Collect payment from customer/company site and deliver all payments to front office.
- Always take photos of each and every delivery/drop.
- Report any accidents or damages immediately to Team Lead or office.
Additional Responsibilities:
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to work in degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable.
- Attention and care required to prevent injury to yourself or others when performing work.
- Ability to sit, stoop, bend, and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Job Summary:
To manufacture metal roofing, metal building, and pole barn trim by hand and by using mechanical breaks. Responsible for accurately loading customer orders, unloading shipments, and cleanliness of department.
Primary Duties:
Ensure that all customer orders are loaded safely, accurately, and timely.
Receive loading documents for jobs.
Use forklift to handle heavy weight metal coils.
Load customer vehicles with panel packs.
Report inventory levels to management.
Receive work orders for jobs from team lead.
Follow work schedule to meet job completion times.
Use shear and slitter to trim metal sheets to size.
Bend metal according to patterns to make metal building and metal roofing trim.
Job Qualifications:

Showcase and sell products while meeting customer needs and exceeding customer expectations.
Primary Duties:
- Market Reed’s Metals complete product and service offering.
- Seek opportunities to expand and grow Reed’s Metals customer base and business.
- Respond quickly and professionally to all customer inquiries regardless of source (i.e. phone, fax, email, web lead, walk-in, etc.)
- Serve as a consultant, advising the customer on the best solution to their needs, making sure they consider alternatives when appropriate and educating as to best products and practices.
- Maintain records of all customer engagements including notes and quotes for later reference.
- Utilize the software tools provided by Reed’s Metals in order to respond consistently and professionally to customer needs. (MetalEZ, MBS, PostFrame Manager, Galv-Econ Worksheet)
- Complete contracts with customers as applicable.
- Work closely with Operations and Manufacturing to ensure all customer requirements are known and customer needs are met.
- Achieve sales targets.
- Monitor competitive pricing and products, and keep management informed.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Be responsible for scheduled in-store or on-site/trade show hours.
- Maintain a professional appearance, wearing Reed’s Metals logo apparel.
- Maintain product knowledge through training and hands-on opportunities and by studying vendor literature.
- Protect the integrity and the assets of Reed’s Metals and approach all engagements in an ethical and a fiscally responsible manner.
